Pixtronix Expands Leadership Team
Display Company Positions for Growth with New CEO and VP of Manufacturing
Andover Mass., October 21 2008 — Pixtronix, Inc., a private venture-backed developer of innovative multimedia display technologies, today announced the appointment of Tony Zona as Chief Executive Officer and Kris Sahlstrom as Vice President of Manufacturing. With the addition of these proven executives, Pixtronix prepares for the next phase of growth in the development and manufacturing of its display technologies.
Tony Zona, a well known and successful entrepreneur with over 25 years of high tech leadership experience, is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Pixtronix. Most recently, Mr. Zona was Vice President and General Manager at Motorola. He joined Motorola through the acquisition of Quantum Bridge Communications, where he served as founder, President and CEO. Kris Sahlstrom brings two decades of experience in flat panel display and semiconductor engineering and manufacturing to Pixtronix, where he leads the company's worldwide manufacturing strategy and operations.
