Optics Engineer
Pixtronix seeks an Optics Engineer with vast experience in the development of flat panel display optical components.
Background and Experience:
- Must possess development skills in display modules as related to optical properties and have experience in developing predictive performance capability and validation prototypes.
- Responsible for the design of optical components utilizing ASAP, Zemax or Light tools.
- Expertise in optical thin films design as related to flat panel displays and proven performance variation analysis skills in optical components as related to manufacturing tolerance of critical parameters.
- Experience with flat panel display metrology, optical component characterization, LEDs, or backlight is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in optical or electro-optical product development required for consideration.
Education:
- Masters Degree or PhD in Optics, Physics or Electro-Optics
